Diminutive Dimensions
Three houses have reached the market and each one hold its own style. Following these styles you must build and decorate these houses, according to the dimensions and styles you are told. The dimensions will be given in the form of squares allowed to be used for one room.
This contest allows you a freedom over the whole house, to show of your best decorating and building styles.
The rounds:
Application:
Round 1: Trashy
Round 2: Beachy
Round 3: Modern
Round 4: Appartment
Rules:
1. If you consider entering, please make sure you'll have enough time to work your entries. Each round will last about 5-6 days.
2. If you should need an extension nevertheless, PM me at least 24 hours before the round closes, so I can see what I can do about that.
3. Be nice to all of your fellow contestants and to the judges

For the application, show us a house you have build and decorated.
(up to 5 pics)
Tell us which house style you like making best and why.

I am waiting for 4-5 appilcation before i proceed with round 1. If this has been achieved by Friday i will post round 1, if not it depends on how many application i have if i post round 1 or wait a bit longer.

I think I will enjoy decorating the apartment/trashy styles best because I feel like I can decorate well in that style. Plus, it's funner ;]

Yes Obli, but the houses will be very very small. So it's not much.

My favorite house style is beachy. I just love that one can use a lot of colors and natural wood there, it looks inviting and friendly, and it reminds me of holidays Big Grin

I also adore doing beach homes. I grew up around beachs on both east and west coasts, so living in the midwest now makes me miss them a lot. I also prefer to do them in a cape cod/northern california style rather than a tropical island style.

Round 1
Jessel and her toddler daughter have decided to sell their house at last. Both plan to move in with jessel’s mother, so we get the house fully furnished. The down town home was too messy and cramped for them. You task to build and decorate this small house following some rules.

Rules:
• This is a trashy lot, so lots of mess!!
• You can organise the rooms how you wish, not all have to be joined by walls. You can use an open plan or wall dividers, but just make sure it is clear which room is which.
• You MUST include a computer or laptop somewhere, the rest is up to you.
• Room sizes:
 Bedroom: 14 squares
 Nursery: 7 squares
 Bathroom: 6 squares
 Kitchen: seven squares
 Dining: 5 squares
 Living: 10 squares
(A diagonal wall crossing a square makes it half a square, and two half squares count as one)
Help:
• Bed can be placed diagonally to save space.

a) is this Jessel's mothers house? If so is the 14 squares for both bedrooms (as it will have 2 adults who i assume done share a bed.)

or b) is it just the house they are selling xDD
